It’s been almost two years since flamboyant pop star Patrick Wolf was in the spotlight but finally he’s back with his new album Lupercalia. Wolf released a song called Time of My Life back in December 2010 but the song failed to chart and went largely under the radar. His new song The City will hopefully reverse the trend and give the truly talented Wolf the recognition he deserves.
Wolf is a an extravagant performer whose performances almost always include bucket loads of glitter and enough shiny paraphernalia to light a room, he’s touring in March so make sure to get a ticket! He is openly bisexual and announced via his Twitter (@_patrick_wolf) late last year his engagement to boyfriend William Pollock.
Arguably Wolf’s most famous song is The Magic Position , which is one of the most uplifting and happy tunes of the decade, but here is his brilliant new song The City for your enjoyment:
