Good news Fashion Finders – we’re going weekly! After some thought, we reckoned that making you wait two weeks for these slices of sartorial signposting was just too cruel. Think of it as an early Christmas present.
And what better way to kick things off than with our own shoot? It’s been a little while since we last cracked out the camera, so we thought we’d collaborate with one of our fave fashion finds of the moment, Bundy & Webster. Bundy & Webster is a fashion platform created by mates Hannah and Suki (we love it when girls get men’s fashion), to promote and support up and coming artists, illustrators and photographers. Brilliant.
There’s currently around eight people involved with the project, with their drawings, designs and illustrations printed onto a variety of tees and sweats. We shot 19 year old Hannah Bigley’s bulldog tee, which is ace – a really detailed drawing that has a 3D feel to it. It’s simple and understated – making it the perfect base layer when wrapping up this winter. We also shot a majestic kaleidoscopic print from Rebecca Cooper. These designs aren’t for the shy – featuring shots from pornos and what we could only discern to be a vagina, we wouldn’t advise wearing these to visit you gran.
Each item is of a strictly limited run which we love – whilst everyone else in the bar will be trying to avoid the guy who’s in the same River Island shirt with the cord elbow patches, you can rock up in something you know no-one else will be sporting – and that’s what great fashion finds are all about for us.
