Upcoming movies to watch out for!

There have already been some fantastic film releases this year so far, such as Les Miserables, Argo and Django Unchained – and it’s only the middle of March! The great news is, is that there are many more must-sees that are being released very soon. Here are a pick of upcoming films to look out for:

Man Of Steel

Another Superman film, you say? This time it’s the Warner Bros turn to recreate the superhero tale, available in 3D. Man of Steel tells a classic hero story from when Clarke Kent first realises that he has un-human powers – can he save the world from destruction this time? Stars include Amy Adams, Russell Crowe and main man Henry Cavill. You can see Man of Steel in Showcase Cinemas from 14th June.

Monsters University 3D

Our much loved characters Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are, after over a decade of waiting in anticipation, returning to the big screen after the stonkingly successful animation Monsters Inc. Monsters University 3D is Pixar’s prequel to Monsters Inc, filling us in with the history of the pair’s relationship before they became best friends. There are sure to be many laughs for all the family and you can catch the film in UK cinemas from July 12th.

Fast & Furious 6

Vin Diesel is back doing what he does best by playing well known Dom Toretto for the 6th time in this action packed thriller – Fast & Furious 6. To a degree, I’m sure that we’ll have a good idea of what to expect from the 6th in this series, such as high speed chases, adrenalin adventures and evil masterminds. Stars include Michelle Rodriquez, Paul Walker and Jason Statham. You can see Fast & Furious 6 in UK cinema’s from 24th May.

Finding Nemo 3D

Monsters University is not the only family favourite which we’ve been looking forward to this year, after a long decade we also have the return of Finding Nemo – although this time the fishy familiar tale is back in 3D. Many of us know of the underwater story already; a young over protected Nemo gets kidnapped by humans, we then see his clown fish father search the Great Barrier Reef, overcoming obstacles on the way to rescue his son. Although well-known, I’m sure that we’ll be blown away by Disney Pixar’s visuals and new feel to this fond tale. Finding Nemo 3D can be seen in the UK from 29th March.
