TQS StaffManic Chord Theatre present their first major performance work, After What Comes Before, at Temple Works Leeds on 14th & 15th March.
Formed of three University of Leeds graduates, Manic Chord Theatre present their first full length performance which showcases an energetic, raw and physical performance style. The work follows the story of three scientists on a voyage of intellectual and physical discovery:
“Deep within the walls of the laboratory, three scientists embark on an experiment to change the lives of others but in doing so become the guinea pigs; unearthing the unexpected, changing their whole look upon life and science.”
The performance combines science that is real, invented and unfounded. During the evening the audience will be able to perform science experiments of their own when extracting thoughts from a brain or making their own science cocktail.
After What Comes Before is both a performance and an event, with the troupe inviting the audience to Temple Works to watch, experience and play. On both evenings the bar and event runs from 6pm to 10pm with a performance at 7.15pm.
