Whether you have kids or are just a big kid yourself you had better free up some time between 28th March – 5th April for this year’s Leeds Young People’s Film Festival. 2012 marks the 13th year of the festival which is dedicated to young people up to the age of 25, and features films made by and for young people. With sessions from Creative England, the BFI, Sci-Fi-London, Reel Solutions and Cambridge International Film Festival, ’Beyond The Blockbuster’ aims to explore a range of audience development strategies to support independent film exhibitors to build a more sustainable box office.
